SANDRA GUTIERREZ

My name is Sandra Gutierrez. I am currently a fourth-year student at Fresno State. I am majoring in Liberal Studies and minoring in Media, Communication, and Journalism. I plan to become an Elementary School Teacher in the future with my bachelor's and earn my teaching credential but hope to work in social media or photography before beginning my teaching profession. I love working with children but my biggest passion is being able to create and design content. I love taking photos and creating content like videos. I also enjoy writing and reading. I'm a bit nerd. :)

Honesty, it's a bit odd to say this, but I always wanted to become a teacher and I still do, but always in my back of my mind, I want to become involved in social media if it's to become a YouTuber, blogger, or social media marketer. I see myself working in either field, which makes my career decisions much harder. The only thing I do know is that I love exploring my interests and hobbies in photography, film, and writing, which is why I always wanted to start a blog and vlog channel. 

 

Back in 2017, I started to pursue blogging and photography as hobbies. It was something I always enjoyed doing, so in my first semester of college, I decided to make a blog website to launch. Of course, it didn't work out because I stopped blogging on it, but I am here back at it again to pursue it again.

One thing 2020 has taught me is to make bold decisions without overthinking it and that is exactly what I am doing. I'm jumping into 2021 with so many hopes and dreams that I can visually see next year being the best year for me so far. This year was already filled with so much growth and self-love for myself, but next year I am ready to jump into the world of influencers and bloggers with the hope that I can pursue both my dreams once and for all.
